West End of London Coach Tour

With a half day to dedicate to London's West End there is time to take a drive through the shopping areas of Regent Street, Oxford Street, Harrods and Knightsbridge, the museums of Kensington, the Royal Albert Hall and the Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens (photo stop), through the wide tree-lined streets of South Kensington and Knightsbridge - areas developed for the first time at the height of the Victorian empire, with many buildings reflecting the wealth and splendour of those times.

The Royal Albert Hall

Buckingham Palace

The tour goes through the most exclusive residential areas of Chelsea and Belgravia, into Westminster. Other important sites seen on a West End tour are Scotland Yard, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace.

N.B. If this tour operates in the morning there may be a Guard Change at Buckingham Palace at 1130 hrs. The Guard Change generally takes place daily at the height of the season, otherwise every other day.

Westminster Abbey is open most weekdays between 0900-1600 hrs and Saturday mornings.

Visiting is not allowed during services and groups are limited to 26. No photography is allowed inside the Abbey. There is an entrance charge.
